The British Captains’ Tournament is a unique event in the U.K. Entry to the Tournament is FREE to both Gentleman and Lady Captains from any recognised U.K golf club. The tournament is recognised by the R & A under rule 4.2.1g and is sponsored by Monarch Airlines, Vila Galé Hotels, Kartel and the U.K Golf Guide. Along with their team of three other club members the Captains will play at one of four qualifying rounds and the 8 qualifying teams will spend five days in Portugal for the Grand Finale in December 2008.
